Rob Zombie is a fantastic writer/director!
House of 1000 Corpses was easily the best horror film since The Thing. Devils Rejects was a masterpiece and ONE OF THE GREATEST FILMS EVER!!! And Halloween was brilliant. I love John Carpenter but I've never been that big on Halloween. RZ's take (INCLUDING THE ORIGIN STORY) gave it substance and made it (and Michael especially) MUCH scarier. Not to mention RZ's great style and the far, far, far superior ending he gave it. I'm sorry but the whole 'Michael was born evil full stop' is boring and didn't scare me. Now the idea that the environment he grew up in brought out the evil in him is scary and believable. And I think the more relatable a horror story is to real life the scarier it is.

For people who suppose to be rob zombie fans some of you need to get off your ass and try and write and direct a film, than some ass wipe who says they are your fans can stab you in the back. I remember when fans had respect for celebrities. Rob Zombie is a great writer and director. Anybody been to the video store lately and seen all the junk that is for rent?

But then why call it Tyrannosaurus Rex? I guess we'll find out when the release date get's near and they have to pormote it. And speaking as someone who hasen't seen the original, I LOVED Zombie's take on Halloween.
