Maybe Michael Bay can get his balls to play Freddy in the upcoming movie. One of my friends was at a party and saw his weird-looking balls and said they looked like Freddy's face. She said the balls looked like the original Freddy in Nightmare 1, and not the Freddy from New Nightmare. There is no substitute for Robert Englund. But in sheer grotesqueness, Michael Bay's balls may just be the next best thing.

ok robert does not want to play freddy it sucks yes and I also think that they shoud not do it eather but Iam the same hight 511 and I play freddy at nightmare at pinehaven farms in october if they relly want to do a remake and like I said if robert doesnot want to play him then I want to I am a big fan so please give me a chance it woud be a dream for me . robert is the best as freddy and they would be big shoes to fill but I woud like to do it

Why would New Line even think about casting somebody beside Robert Englund!? Who would want to watch it? And why does everyone in this site talk about mIKE? I think his mom was in a German Shizer video directed by Rob Zombie, but I don't get what that has to do with this forum! The new nightmare on elm street will probably make money no matter what. But to make a bundle, it needs a good director and Robert Englund. Without Robert Englund, they might as well cast Corky. Incidentally, Corky logged into this site under the name Chuck Visger. Chuck wants to play Freddy in Nightmare on Elm Street 9: Freddy versus the Special Olympics.

As if the remake wasn't bad enough, now we may have to suffer the thoughts of a nightmare movie without the man that made them. Robert Englund is Freddy Krueger. You can **** around and make Jason 50 different people, but you can't do that to Freddy. Nobody can play the role like Robert. If you do this Platinum Dunes and New Line, you are essentially killing yourselves. No one will want a movie where Robert isn't Freddy. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I just wanted to say that I don't think that it would matter who played Freddy if they have another Freddy Vs Jason as long as they don't leave us hanging in suspence forever,I love that movie and probably always will and I'm really hoping that they can come out with another Freddy Vs Jason,and finish the story line for the movie

So, "Internet hog" like Freddy versus Jason.....well that makes one of us! A fine taste indeed for a finely crafted movie.....no disrespect to Michael Bay's finely crafted balls. The only thing leaving me in "suspence" is knowing whether mIKE's mom will make a cameo in the thrilling sequel to Freddy versus Jason. I heard she is going to play the role of Chinese fingercuffs between Jason and Freddy in a shockingly intimate scene...only to be enjoyed by the most prestigious of horror movie fanatics. I hear that will be the final story line for the movie and hopefully internet hog will find that satisfactory.

It depends on where they go with this. If it's a complete reboot it would ony make sense to get a new actor . However if it's a sequel then it would be dissapointing not to use Robert Englund . Either way Freddy has been fleshed out over 8 sequels and we all know what to expect from him . A reboot seems pointless . If the idea is to make him scary again I doubt it will work . I would rather see Robert in a sequel than anything else.

I would like to throw out my two cents and try to make sense of everything that I have read on this site so far. I would like to thank Dreamer and Steve for their keen insight on the validity of Rob Zombie's film making career. The horror of his horror is how horrible the films have been, though his music was equally terrific. I would also like to echo the wonderful words of wisdom whimsically whispered by pig****er and bspears - freddy vs. jason was a goat**** experiment at best. The fact that Brad (and many others) would like to see change in the role of Freddy clearly demonstrates the sad state of affairs in the world today. It is obvious that Brad's mind is muddled by visions of Pierce Brosnan making out with Daniel Craig. I don't know why this didn't occur to me earlier but I have the best film idea yet. Maybe Bob Zombie could direct and produce another hillbilly classic. Picture this.... a gangbang with Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, Michael Bay's Balls, and mIKE's mom (with a strapon), all pulling a train on Brad and Madstu. Now that would make film making history. I think Brandon may have summed it all up best in his own simplistic and lazy way - Freddy.

Hollywood writers you should be ashamed of yourselves. You go on strike for more money and better treatment then you guys readily sign up to rewrite & remake theses movies over and over again. You're all ****ing lazy bastards. Any fan boy monkey in the fan fiction sections of Superhero Hype, Coming Soon, and Shock Till You Drop could rewrite & re-imagine a story that has already been told before. How about standing up to the clueless producers who want to keep milking the life out of these movies and give them something new to work with, you know like write something original perhaps! As for not including Robert Englund in this reboot it's just an insult to this great actors body of work on this franchise. I'm not surprised I saw this coming just recently they ****ed over Doug Bradley who plays Pinhead in the Hellraiser movies too with a "reboot". It just goes to show you that the people in charge of making films...the big fat cats who suck on their cigars like cocks all day have too much money and no creative spark in their heads what so ever. They don't appreciate and respect the craft of the artists involved in making these movies work. So **** you Hollywood, I hope the actors go on their planned strike and they hold out until you start getting your acts together.

one time I took a big steamer that looked like Rob Zombie. It even had corn eyes - I'm not kidding. So anyway, I took a picture of it and was going to show it to my bros. But then I lit up a big fatty and fell asleep. When I woke up my coffee table was on fire and I lost the picture and all proof that Rob Zombie is really a turd.
