NBC's horror anthology series "Fear Itself" (more details on the nature of the project here) is losing its showrunner Mick Garris.
ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned the wide-reaching Hollywood stranglehold of the writers strike is to blame. Presently, Garris' is not allowed to perform his duties based on certain guidelines laid down by the WGA, so his responsbilities are being carried by the producers at Industry Entertainment and Lionsgate. This does not exclude Garris from participating as a director, however.
NBC has ordered up thirteen episodes of "Fear Itself" poised to air in the summer of 2008.
