J.T. Mollner, director of The I Scream Man, drizzled some exclusive casting news onto Shock tonight. According to him, the paperwork is literally drying on Michael Madsen's deal to star opposite Crispin Glover in Mollner's vicious debut horror effort.
In addition to this new leading man, Dee Wallace - who will next be seen in Rob Zombie's Halloween - is on board to co-star as the mother of Haylie Duff's character Lynda. For more on the film, read our last item here.
Originally, actor Tom Sizemore was slated to play Madsen's part of "Scream's Ronnie Gop until he broke probation, reunited with methamphetamine and landed himself behind bars again earlier in the month. This, of course, created complications considering I Scream Man rolls this summer, so, the insurance company behind the project requested a replacement.
Madsen, best known for his ear-lopping role in Reservoir Dogs, is currently starring in Larry Bishops' Hell Ride for Dimension Films and Quentin Tarantino - more details on that here.
