Summit Sets Release Dates for Warm Bodies, Sinister

Summit Entertainment reps tell Shock that release dates have been locked down for two genre titles.
Jonathan Levine's Warm Bodies - starring Nicholas Hoult and Theresa Palmer - will open August 10, 2012. Based on the book of the same name, this adaptation tells of a highly unusual zombie who rescues a girl from imminent death at the hands of his cohorts. Their unlikely romance sets in motion a chain of events that will transform him, his fellow dead, and maybe even the whole lifeless world. Meanwhile, Sinister, the new film from Scott Derrickson, will debut a few weeks later on August 24, 2012. Here, Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story discovers a box of home videos showing other families being brutally murdered, but his investigation soon leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm's way.
