After a bit of speculation trickled throughout the online world, it turns out the role of Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead is going to Andrew Lincoln.
The actor will join Jon Bernthal, who plays Shane, in this adaptation of Robert Kirkman's comic book. Frank Darabont is writing and directing for AMC. The network recently ordered six episodes, the first of which will air in October. Hailing from England, Lincoln has starred in Love Actually and the series Strike Back.
