The New Trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street!

New Line/Warner Bros. has unleashed the new trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street. Hitting theaters on April 30, the film stars Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton.
In the film, a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic, a group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley), a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another...but when they sleep, there is no escape.

Trailer doesn't do anything for me honestly. The trailer for the F13 remake at least was really impressive. The movie sucked, but the trailer was great. Who knows, maybe this one will work opposite to that. Weak trailer strong film.

i know it's cool to bash platinum dunes, but i've liked all of their remakes, so sue me...actually i think they should've been the ones to remake 'halloween' also, but oh well..
this trailer makes me want to see the movie SOMEWHAT more than i already did...i'm just afraid they might be giving away too much, and i hope i'm wrong, cuz i hate it when trailers spoil the whole movie...hafta wait and see...

Please, please, please let this be at least tolerable. The original will always exist, of course, but a really bad remake is not necessary. The film's ideas and Freddy himself... genius. So much to exploit and make interesting. Prove the haters wrong, Platinum Dunes.

I´m with you Jeremy selenfriend. The trailer is still the same a the teaser. Doesn´t show nothing new, just a few flicks of Freddy scaring the **** out of boys and girls. I hope they could release a unrated trailer in which the real expression and fear of Freddy can be meaning not meanless!!!!

HOLY $HIT!! this looks EXCELLENT!! not being a big Elm St/Freddy fan, i wasn't really all that excited for this but now, i'm VERY much so!!! this looks totally awesome and Freddy's voice is incredibly creepy! no complaints from me whatsoever!!! this movie is going to be KICK A$$!! i think it's going to be PD's best one yet!

Very EXCITED! I still think Freddy's face prosthetic is poorly done BUT I guarantee its a ploy by the studio, to conceal his actual prosthetic face, to lower our expectations. Also, The CGI looks unrealistic and unfinished, and I'm sure it is not completely polished yet... Well lets keep are fingers crossed XXXX

i was worried there for a little bit, but this has reinstalled my hopes. the entire vibe seems a lot darker then F13th or anything else platinum dunes has released. i hope freddy gets inside your head. im glad they kept the scene where hes coming through the wall over her bed while she sleeps. hoping for the arms stretched/alley way scene.
fingers crossed for this flick!

The first trailer was ALOT better. This new one just showed some more footage, but also made Jackie's Freddy look even more bad. I mean his voice is just not Freddy. It doesn't even sound the least bit scary and why does he still have that stupid face. I thought they said they were going to change it? Looks like Ill be waiting for the DVD to watch it. I ain't spending $10-$15 on a pointless remake that doesn't even look the least bit impressive as the original. Seriously, just look at Freddy coming through the wall LOL....

Holy **** that was ****ing sweet! I had my doubts about the movie but this trailer sold me. Man this Freddy is ****ing creepy. He reminds me of the way Freddy was in part 1 and 2 before he started cracking lame ass jokes.
