There was talk that season five of Supernatural was going to be last.
Then showrunner Eric Kripke told the press last month that he's mulling over possible carrying the Winchester brothers (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) into a sixth season. Well rejoice, fans. The CW has officially picked up the sixth season. This decision comes in the wake of a boost in ratings, especially after the series was paired with The Vampire Diaries, also returning for another season. Where will Supernatural turn next?
