The Brett Easton Ellis novel that stirred up so much controversy and later became a feature film starring Christian Bale is becoming a musical.
Yes, a musical. According to Variety, Duncan Sheik is at work on the music and lyrics while scribe Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is writing the book. Because his is still a ways out from becoming a reality, the producers have no production timeline yet. They do promise it will have an apropos '80s vibe to it. What a strange world we live in.
