Sam Trammell talks upcoming third season
About.com recently caught up with actor Sam Trammell and tried to pry some details out of him on what we can expect from his character Sam Merlotte on HBO's upcoming third season of True Blood. While he did his best to remain tip-lipped, he did talk a bit about how we'll be meeting Sam's family this season.

"They're very country. They're very eccentric. They're very dysfunctional. They have some weird stuff going on that you find out as the season goes on. And they're awesome. J. Smith Cameron plays and Marshall [Allman], he was on Prison Break… Fantastic group of people."

Even odder about Sam's character is this little tid-bit that Michael Ausiello posted on his blog for Entertainment Weekly.

(If you haven't seen the season two finale, beware spoilers ahead!) In regards to the potential fallout from Bill "donating" blood to save Sam’s life in the finale last September? Series creator Alan Ball said that Bill and Sam "will forge not just any connection, an erotic connection." What the hell does that mean?
