Exclusive First Look at the Dread Trailer
Source: Ryan Rotten, Managing Editor
January 11, 2010
The latest adaptation to spring from the works of Clive Barker, Dread, arrives in theaters on January 29. It's just one of the "eight films to die for" playing in After Dark's fourth Horrorfest outing.Shock Till You Drop is proud to bring you an exclusive first look at the official trailer for the film which stars Jackson Rathbone, Shaun Evans, Hanne Steen and Laura Donnelly. Rathbone and Evans play students who get embroiled in a fear study that goes awry (if it didn't, it wouldn't be "Clive Barker," would it?). Anthony DiBlasi writes and directs.
Don't forget, we're co-hosting a sneak preview of Dread in Los Angeles on January 23 with the cast and crew in attendance. For more details visit this story! For our full set report, click here.

Meh! I hope it's better than Book of Blood

I've been waiting and waiting for this to be made. When I met Clive Barker in 2005, Dread and the possibility of a film version was the main thing we talked about. This, along with The Damnation Game are my favorite Barker stories...but God Damn, that was terrible. Did they take all the worst acting from the movie and put it all in the trailer? Talk about a huge let down. I'll wait till I see the whole flick to form all opinions, but so far not so good.

The Trailer has a huge Spoiler, so please don't watch it!
Seen it on the German Fantasy Filmfest already; it's a pretty nasty and gritty story. Liked it.
