Hopes to bring Alec Holland back in 3D
Back in October, writer/producer Akiva Goldsman had talked about reviving a new screen interpretation of Swamp Thing for the big screen, this time focusing more on Alan Moore's eerie, metaphysical horror comics rather than the rubber-suit bog creature from the 1982 Wes Craven movie.

MTV caught up with producer Joel Silver who said, "I'll hopefully do Swamp Thing, which is a movie we've had for a long time. We think that would be great to do in 3D. There are a couple of projects I'm thinking about [for the format] but not everything. If we pull it together and if the script works, that's our intention (to make it in 3D)."

Silver also talks about several other DC properties he's working on including The Losers (starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Lobo with Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie rumored to be attached. More on all of these projects here.
