Looks like yesterday's report was dead-on, in spite of what actress Milla Jovovich said.
Resident Evil: Afterlife is now being released in theaters on January 14, 2011. That's according to a release schedule we've received from Screen Gems. The studio's fourth entry in the franchise is now in direct competition with MGM's The Cabin in the Woods, which was delayed from 2010 so it can be formatted for 3D.
