EXCL: Salva Taking a Trip Down Rosewood Lane

You now have a new place to fear: Rosewood Lane.
Victor Salva with write and direct the horror-thriller beginning early next year. He'll co-produce with Don E. FauntLeRoy.
Gina Phillips leads the cast as a radio talk show therapist who moves back to her childhood home when her alcoholic father dies. But upon arrival, she discovers the neighborhood is terrified of the local paperboy.
She thinks this is ridiculous, until she encounters the boy himself, and learns the hard way, that he is a cunning and dangerous sociopath, who may have killed her father and even others. When he starts to exhibit abnormal abilities, she starts to doubt her own sanity and the boy begins waging a war of terror on her.
Ray Wise is also locked to star.
Phillips and Wise are reunited with Salva after their turns in Jeepers Creepers and Jeepers Creepers 2, respectively, both of which Salva wrote and directed.
Of Rosewood Lane, Salva describes the film "as a jump-out-of-your-seat thriller in the tradition of my favorite terror in suburbia film: John Carpenter's Halloween."
Jeepers Creepers' Brian Penikas is on FX duties.

The teaser poster or whatever you want to call it is horrible. It sounded okay until the paper boy senario was thrown in. Gina Phillips always seems to do good though, so I might give this a chance just because of her.

While directing Clownhouse, Salva, then 29, molested one of the film's actors, 12-year-old Nathan Forrest Winters. The sexual acts were videotaped by Salva, who pleaded guilty to one count of lewd and lascivious conduct, one count of oral copulation with a person under 14, and three counts of procuring child pornography.[1] Salva was sentenced to three years in prison. He served 15 months of the sentence before being paroled, [2] and has since been registered as a sex-offender in the U.S.

Jeepers Creepers 3 went into filming and production long long ago, I'm almost positive Salva has nothing to do with it. It's kind of a prequel as I gather, taking place in the wild west era, and shines a light on how and where the creeper ever came to be.

Derek,that western idea was actually once intended for JEEPERS CREEPERS 3,which has yet to be filmed,otherwise that version of JC3 would had been already completed long ago and we'd have the DVD of it in our hands(had its filming became a reality).

Do not support Salva...why do you present all that information and why do you care? It sounds like he was given a sentence and served time and was paroled and has since registered as a sex offender. Do people not deserve a second chance in this world? Or should we just kill people for every crime? Why don't we start with Salva and then go on to Michael Vick. He killed dogs!

There's a few things we can discern right off bat. The paperboy will have a slender build with slight muscle tone. He'll have a penchant for going shirtless whenever he gets the chance and there will be at least one scene with him and/or other boys his age urinating in front of the camera.

Your attempts to deflect are weak. Neither of those cases has anything to do with Victor Salva. For one, have I said anything that registers as sympathy for Polanski? If it were my call, I'd have the CIA drag him back here under the cover of night. The Twilight movies (the latest of which I'm sure Vic has seen numerous times already, lol) weren't written or directed by a convicted child molestor who clearly uses films to address his or her pederastic urges.
And what do our qualms have to do with homosexuality? They mostly lust after grown men, not 12 year old little boys. They probably find Vic Salva to be as repugnant as I do.
Hide behind those rickety deflections if you wish. Maybe after you see his latest ode at the altar of young male flesh, you'll begin to understand why people like myself find his filmmaking to be creepy, disgusting and unprofessional.

You ignorant twat, here is a reality check for you, child molestors don't get "better" they get better at hiding it, their victims never get over it and last but not least his sexuality has nothing to do with it (as long as it's between 2 consenting ADULTS) so stop equating the two.
