French Wolfman Poster Gets It Right
Source:FilmsActu
November 17, 2009
Man, do I love this. It's the French one-sheet for Universal's The Wolfman, which hits U.S. theaters on February 12. The image features the famous cane Larry Talbot (aka the Wolfman) carries in the film. It's subtle. Classy. Dare I say I like it better than the posters we're getting here in the States? (See them here.) Yes, I do.

I went to a test screening last night, AWESOME!!! Bloody as hell, good story, needs some little tweaks but it will not let down, gore wise. Rick Baker out did himself.

hey "MadnessOfMando" did they keep the zoo scene where the wolfman takes on an alligator? It was from the original script just wondering if they kept it or chucked it. Does jack the ripper make an appearance? glad you liked it I have high hopes for this film!

That's cause just like TV commercials they have to give just about everything away before you even see it. They leave nothing to surprise people anymore. "Let's show all the cool parts so people will buy the tickets!" I swear they either give everything away on purpose cause they are either stupid, don't think people can handle to be pleased and surprised, or want to hurry and cash in before people discover how ****ty the movie is. Even though it's Wolfman which I bet is gonna be great, I swear about every other movie they have done this too. And some movie they give away the ending in the damn commercials... For example, Quarantine, The new Crazies remake trailer, and that one with Halle Berry, no not Catwoman, the one where it showed she was nuts in the trailer... Was supposed to be a horror flick or something. I called everything that was gonna happen just by seeing the trailer, my friends saw it and was pissed cause I was right about everything that was gonna happen in it. Hollywood just doesn't know people anymore, they just think we are stupid morons that have to be shown everything before letting us experience on our own.

The French have ALWAYS been subtle and classy...and what do we do? We call them terrorist supporters and take their name out of French Fries and French Toast. It's the American way.

The French aren't terrorist supporters, they're terrorist appeasers, of the "please leave us alone and we won't oppose you" variety. Big difference, but either way, the French are hardly heroic, corporately speaking.
