Hansel and Gretel:Witch Hunters Gets Writer

The Hollywood Reporter says that Dante Harper has been hired to write the script for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Dead Snow co-writer/director Tommy Wirkola is helming the project for Gary Sanchez Prods. and Paramount.

The story picks up 15 years after the fairy-tale siblings traumatic gingerbread house incident, which provokes them to become witch bounty hunters.

Sanchez execs Kevin Messick, Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Chris Henchy are producing the horror-action comedy, which is said to have a gory-but-funny Shaun of the Dead vibe to it. (Makes sense if you've seen Dead Snow.) More details when we hear 'em.

that is going to be an awesome movie to watch that's a good twist on hansel and gretel can't wait to see this movie
