This show isn't exceptional by any means. Yet I watch it. But I believe that most all series need only be a limited number of episodes in the first place. Writers just cannot come up with enough decent content to last a full season ever.
That's why I found Carnivale to absolutely deliver and breathe every episode cause it was never a filler.
That had 12 episodes per season.
Maybe Heroes and other shows could switch up to this format if they want to survive and punch up the point in a fewer episodes.
Then again content doesn't really matter to networks anyways, it's just about what product sells and how to make it last as long as possible, which is the most obvious this year than it ever has been.

I feel sorry for Lindsay Price. She went from Lipstick Jungle to this. She's appeared in alot of tv episodes, but nothing that lasted more than one season, aside from Lipstick.
A beautiful woman like that and skill she has yet to be fully realized, she deserves something that will last.
Secrets of the Summer House was her only leading roll in a TV movie and Lonely Street she had 2nd billing on, but it was more campy than anything.
She needs something to sink her teeth into and I hope she gets it soon.

Well, watch it now; enjoy it; and tell your friends. Maybe we can save it.
