Finally, director Todd Lincoln has a "go" project! And he's landed his first actress.

Lincoln, who was attached to the Hack/Slash adaptation for years, is prepping The Apparition for Dark Castle. According to Variety, Ashley Greene (Twilight) is in talks to star. She'll play part of a couple haunted by a supernatural presence in the wake of a college experiment.

As previously reported, Lincoln's script is said to be based on true events. Production begins in February. Joel Silver will produce with Andrew Rona, Alex Heineman, Steve Richards, Sue Baden Powell and Daniel Alter.
