Full Synopsis for Puppet Master: Axis of Evil

Source:Full Moon
November 1, 2009

Not one to be left out of the horror franchise "reboot" trend, Full Moon has embarked on a ninth Puppet Master film, Puppet Master: Axis of Evil. That's right, Blade and those other wooden runts are back in a new film helmed by Dave DeCoteau, the man behind such titles as Grizzly Rage and Ring of Darkness. Here's the lowdown:

In a stateside hotel during the height of World War II, young Danny Coogan dreams of joining the war effort. Following the murder of hotel guest Mr. Toulon by Nazi assassins, Danny finds the old man's crate of mysterious puppets and is suddenly thrust into a battle all his own. He discovers that Nazis Max and Klaus, along with beautiful Japanese saboteur Ozu, plan to attack a secret American manufacturing plant. After his family is attacked and his girlfriend Beth is kidnapped, it is up to Danny and the living deadly Puppets to stop this Axis of Evil...

More quality from the house of Charles Band. Playing young Coogan is relative newcomer Levi Fiehler who recently wrapped Moonshine Inc, a romantic comedy.

Puppet Master: Axis of Evil arrives in 2010.

i always enjoyed the puppet master movies... i especially liked when the puppets were thrown into the role of "good guys" in past movies. this sounds like it'll be worth checking out for sure.

This is really exciting news. I've loved this series since I was a kid, even the weirder sequels.

The Leech woman used to freak me out, I hope she's back.

Can't wait, I have all the other films. And the behind-the-scenes footage make this look more promising than the previous several films in the series.
