Carlos Brooks has struck up a deal with Dreamwork Studios and will be directing a teen thrilled called Someone in the Dark. Brooks previously helmed Quid Pro Quo.

Someone is based on an idea by Brooks but was penned by Richard Blaney and Gregory Small.

Plot details are being withheld at this time.

In addition to the aforementioned Quid, Brooks recently wrapped Burning Bright starring Briana Evigan. Film pits the actress in a house, during a hurricane, with a hungry tiger. We got a chance to talk to the writers of that film; read the interview here!
