Eminem is Here to Tell You Shady Talez

Producers Dallas Jackson, John Davis and Eminem (yes, famed rapper) are getting their hands bloody.

The trio are currently in development on an anthology project called Shady Talez and we've got the details:

From the mind of international Pop-Star, multi-Grammy winner, and the top selling artist of 2009 Eminem, comes the new horror franchise Shady Talez.

Shady Talez is a fictional horror comic-book that literally sucks it's reader into it's very pages. Each horror story is a wink at an original classic such as Christine, Aliens, and The Lost Boys while Eminem puts his own dark spin on the genre playing multiple characters and introducing new stories to the new horror generation.

Writing the film is Kevin Grevioux, the co-creator of the Underworld franchise and co-star of the first and third entries. Shady Talez is due in 2011.

This certainly isn't the first time a rapper has crossed over into our genre. Let's not forget titles like Bones and Hood of Horror... Or, maybe we should.

The one word that comes to mind is why.

It's funny how comics that haven't even been released yet are becoming feature films...it's like every comic book HAS TO become a movie!

And they've not even built credibility with buyers. It's stupid IMO...but what do I know? I'm just a fan.

you know i think musicians should stay musicians, actors stay actors, and athletes should stay athletes its getting ridiculous. i mean its bad enough that there is only a few great actors out there

I think Slim is great and he is twisted in his own way, but I am seriously hoping that his movie isn't down to "Hood of Horror" level.
