Frontieres' Gens Jumps into Fallout

French helmer Xavier Gens, who spilled buckets of blood in Frontiere(s), is set to direct The Fallout next for ContentFilm International.

Plot details are scant at this time, however, the project is set against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic New York and carries shades of Assault on Precinct 13 and Lord of the Flies. The story was scripted by Karl Mueller who also penned Shelter, a project we last reported on in 2007 (here).

Ross Dinerstein, Darryn Welch and Tony Krantz (of the direct-to-DVD Raw Feed series and Otis) will produce. Gens recently shepherded the upcoming zombie film The Horde.

Shooting begins on The Fallout early next year.
