Eh. subtitles should never be spelt out like that, and in such a basic font. It should be more like "THIS TIME ITS SPREADING!" in a haggard kind of font.

Is this a direct-to-dvd release?

damn this poster is ****ty, complete crap! i mean what is up with this poster, if u look at it close enough it looks like a monkey skull smiling at me all retarted and **** and that bus makes it even worse. now the story; first of all, if your going to have the story take place in a high school, dont call it cabin fever, thats the point of the title is to be in a cabin not a high school. if ur going to do that u might as well called it "SCHOOL FEVER: PROM NIGHT" or some **** like that, no wonder why MR. WEST wanted to disown his own film, i dont blame him. this is a waste of time, dont bother.....but hey thats my opinion right...

What is it with this season and crap "Spreading".. First Saw, now this?.. Nice to know that the media has the country so afraid of virus' that we need to be subjected to advertising like this now, even if it fits the basic premise of the movie.
It is direct to dvd, except the thing they're showing it at mentioned above.
Rumors are that its pretty bad, part of the reason they kept it for so long without releasing it. Too bad, the first one was entertaining.

umm. hope its as good as the first one but i guess time will tell.

HOLY ****! STOP THE DAMN *****ING ABOUT EVERYTHING! What the hell has gotten into the world? All we ever do is complain about the stupidest things! Don't any of you read up on these things? It's a ****ing sequel. At the end of the first one, the damn fever "SPREAD" on through means of water! The world is made up of dumbasses nowadays. Believe me...I work with the public...****in retards...I'm just happy the people I work with in the pharmacy are intelligent. Well, we kind of have to be...
And there's nothing worng with the poster. Let's see you make one better. And if any of you comment and say "Klynsy=guy who made poster", you're just as dumb as anyone. Cause I can't ****in make posters...I suck at it.

Hey Klynsy....STFU...Arent you complaining too ???
Posted by: LaMorte on October 24, 2009 at 17:51:56
Klynsy=guy who made poster...............yeah, sue me biotch, you know you want to !
Pretty average poster by the way, i really wonder how this movie is gonna be since its director publicly disowned it!
Posted by: Klynsy on October 24, 2009 at 23:39:16
Hahaha, I'm just ****ing with you guys. I wanted to see how many people would comment...not many. Whatever, I honestly have no opinion about the poster...I'll probably have to agree with the lamer side. Oh well...to each his own. Cornboy, TOUCHE INDEED. And LaMorte. Touche to you too. You did exactly what I had been hoping for. Thank you both for brightening my day...and I'm not even being sarcastic. I feel cheerier...because I wasn't being serious in my above comment.
By the way....what does everyone think about a GREMLINS remake? Cause I heard one is on it's way....
Posted by: LaMorte on October 25, 2009 at 01:03:13
Maybe you were just kidding, maybe not, but justify yourself for everything you say doesn't really help for your street cred ! Glad that unknown people can make your day so easily, probably the kinda person easy to satisfy for everything, god bless internet ! Dunno about Gremlins remake, hope you have an opinion this time, cornboy and I can't always give you a hand kiddo ! let me dedicate this classic tune to you "all byyyyyy myyyyyyyseeeeeeelf"
Posted by: Klynsy on October 25, 2009 at 08:51:08
Yeah, I don't really need your help. My street cred is just fine. It's the internet, no one knows who I am. And I've made opinions before just fine on this site without anyone's help. I just was a bit pissed off when I wrote the first comment, but I really didn't mean it...bad day at work, might as well blow off some steam where I won't get physically murdered, and then I wanted to see if people commented on it, and since you guys did, I found it funny, hence my second comment. Cornboy's made more sense as a comeback...LaMorte, yours sounded something like what my uncle would say. So it made me laugh. And believe me, it's very rare that unknown people on the internet make my day...hardly ever...maybe never...you just brightened my day, didn't make it. It was made about an hour before I read your comments. There really is no reason for my to ramble on more, cause that's what I seem to be good at, so I will end it by saying: I write this third comment to tie the other two together. Cheerio.

DMAN - do you know what the term 'Cabin Fever' actually means? The first movie was called Cabin Fever as it had a double meaning - of course the virus can be transported to a high school prom and still be called Cabin Fever - if you were stuck with a dying group of infected people in a building that there is no way out of then you would have ''Cabin fever' (and I mean the real meaning of the term) I'm sure!
I dont mind the poster, seen MUCH much worse and it works in the context of the movie- its a school bus, the virus is headed to a school...not to mention the school bus ties in with Rider Strongs final scene!
As for the person who said this movie is getting a bad response that's not true at all - all the review from the Austin screening have been good or 50/50...and if you keep up with the news Ti West came forward in September (its online and on video) and actually said he hopes people like the movie but that if they diddnt they shoulnt blame him as it wasnt the cut he wanted...which is something that happens with movies ALL the time! He also said its a still a fun and disgusting movie.

MARK -- Do you know what the term 'Cabin Fever' means? Cause sure didnt see it written in your comment. They only called it CABIN FEVER 2 is because they want people to know that its related to the first. So all you told me is that "of course the virus can be transported to a high school prom and still be called Cabin Fever"......Ok thats not really saying anything is it...I know its possible for the virus to spread from its origin onto other locations, but the point of the first was that, it takes place in a CABIN...meaning of CABIN - a small house or cottage, usually of simple design and construction. FEVER - an abnormal condition of the body, characterized by undue rise in temperature, quickening of the pulse, and disturbance of various body functions. So the double meaning is CABIN & FEVER. I mean titles are sometimes named off locations, objects, people etc...i mean there are movies that have double meanings, but this isnt one of them. So why would you call a movie cabin fever if its not going to take place in a cabin.
Yes the context to the movie, having a bus, being in a school, is right, but dont call it cabin fever if it isn't taking place in one. So I think SCHOOL FEVER: PROM NIGHT would be better.
Ok even though he wants the people to like it or atleast enjoy it, that doesnt mean he saying i want my movie back. He is simply saying in a way that its a good movie to check out.
