Awesome All-New Trailer for Universal's The Wolfman!

Source:Apple
October 21, 2009

Surprise! Universal has sprung a second trailer on us for The Wolfman just in time for Halloween...

Click on the player below for yet another awesome preview of this remake of the 1941 classic (or watch it in hi-res here. The trailer adopts a more modern touch with the music this time, however, the new footage looks great. (Look for a cameo by Rick Baker.)

It's mostly driven by Anthony Hopkins, who I suspect is going to chew up the scenery. Benicio Del Toro plays the titular hirsute beast; Emily Blunt is the woman who loves him and Hugo Weaving is the one who wants to put him down.

Enjoy the trailer and check out new photos here! The Wolfman opens on February 12.

Awesome. I really don't understand why the studios won't release movies like this throughout the month of October before or during Halloween. It's a known fact that more people rent movies or go to a theater in the month of October near Halloween than any other time of the year.

I understand the production stand point, but at least they should have a deadline. It would done really good at the BO this month.

Movie looks great, but the trailer was very unimpressive. I liked the first version much better.

I can't wait for this movie to move on and fade into obscurity. Going to be a failure.

Beautifully and Remarkably Done! If or when I survive after getting the lipoma removed from my back, I will purchase this movie; either on DVD or Blu-Ray; so that I can present it, along with other great movies, at the spectacular sleepovers of my future beautiful daughters and my future beautiful stepdaughters.
