Step right up, Darren Shan fans. We've got a treat for you. In anticipation of Universal Pictures' Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, an adaptation of Shan's first three young adult novels in the "Cirque" series, we caught up with stars Chris Massoglia (The Hole) and Josh Hutcherson (of the Red Dawn remake) at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
The two were in town for the kick-off of Halloween Horror Nights and to join co-star John C. Reilly to promote the film.
Massoglia and Hutcherson play Darren and Steve, respectively, friends who become divided when they're each turned to vampires and are forced onto opposite sides of a bloodsucker feud. Below, you'll find highlights of ShockTillYouDrop.com's chat with the actors as they discuss their characters, becoming vampires, director Paul Weitz's take on the material and working with one another.
Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant opens in theaters on October 23. Click on the title for clips and photos! For our exclusive interview with John C. Reilly click here!
