I thought the 3rd one made reverences about going to Japan? Oh, well. I love Milla, and will see anything with her...

Um, are the Alice clones in it?

from everything i've read/seen online for this movie (and i do follow this movie pretty closely) it's been implied that Alice (and the clones?) DO go to Japan and something happens that makes Alice (or a clone if the real Alice gets killed by Wesker) escape back to N.America (where she meets up w/ Claire & gang). Anderson has said that the clones DO play a part in this.

love these movies, can't wait. Milla and Ali Larter are very easy on the eyes. Would like it if they did it all over seas, something radical and different.

bring it on

Alice will fall by my own hands. And even if you think I'm gone I will always come back!

djblack1313, if what you say is true, this sounds like they are going to do the same thing that happened with the third movie. One of the problems with the third movie is it felt like there was a missing film between 2 and 3 that we did not see. There was this terrific cliffhanger at the end of 2 where Alice is under control of Umbrella, and it's just sort of dealt with in a few sentences in the third. I hope that's not the course of action they are choosing this time.

Don't get me wrong though, I really enjoy this series of films, and unlike the Paul W.S. Anderson psychotic haters, I am not demanding a re-boot (one of the silliest things I keep reading about). They should just keep going forward. Hollywood needs more of these medium sized franchise pictures.

The funny thing is next Summer is a pretty weak line up of movies, so this stands to be an event film.

Speaking of these medium sized franchise pictures, Ryan, when are we going to get official word of Kate Beckinsale signing for a new UNDERWORLD trilogy? The fourth film is on the sched, but we haven't heard anything since that announcement. Who wrote the script?
