Newly formed DVD distribution company Scorpion Releasing has announced the release of their first title, the long lost "slasher" gem
Silent Scream. Formed by Code Red's Walt Olsen, Scorpion Releasing will debut

For the first time on DVD anywhere in the world, Scorpion Releasing is proud to present
Silent Scream, the classic slasher film featuring Barbara Steele in one of her most terrifying roles. Out of circulation for decades, the film has recently been mastered in Hi-Definition by Scorpion Releasing, and will be sure to shock a whole new generation of horror fans.
What is the deadly secret haunting the Engels family? Young co-ed Scotty (Rebecca Balding) is unable to find housing on campus. She finds a vacancy at the nearby Engels’ mansion, now a boarding house for college students. Mrs. Engels (Yvonne De Carlo) and her son seem nice enough, but it becomes clear to Scotty that something is not right at her new residence. When her fellow borders begin dying, two detectives (Cameron Mitchell and comedian Avery Schreiber) must solve the mystery of the Engels’ boarding house before the body count rises.

What amuses me is they keep saying "Hi-Def Master" and no mention of a Blu-Ray release.

The film itself is the main thing, not the most recent tech advancement. As a matter of fact, blu-ray would defeat the original way this movie looked when we saw it in theatres years ago. The film's the thing.

Sounds mighty cool! They should consider giving Meet The Feebles a DVD release 'cuz it's been needing a better release for a LOOOOOONG time.
