I don't like the 'demand it!' marketing scheme. Just distribute it properly already.

Oh god I wanna see this so badly

Yeah, it's really dumb to gauge the interest in a miniscule-budget movie before releasing it...

Hello, Paramount...people want to see this movie!!! Great lead in movie to the Halloween season. Release it widely! Especially in Zanesville, OH! LOL

Tried to go to ParanormalMovie.com to Demand the Movie. Site isn't up and running. What's up? And does anyone know if they're going with the original ending or one of the studio endings?

I think the "demand it" feature is actually kinda rad! I hate when I have to drive to hollywood to see a movie i want to see...loves it paramount!
Posted by: pete on September 14, 2009 at 21:47:15
i have been waiting for this film.......!
Posted by: Zach on September 14, 2009 at 22:14:56

Yeah, this movie opened at Slamdance a year and a half ago, it sucked so hard.
Posted by: brandon_fear on September 15, 2009 at 00:06:22

Can't wait to see this film! I also tried going to paranormalmovie.com and it doesn't work.

zville123 is RIGHT!!!
How come the poster's own advertised website doesn't even work? Not a good sign!

Um....if you read it says the site won't come online until 9PM tonight. Maybe slow up a bit on the race to comment and actually read the article and you wont look so retarded next time.
And it was at Slamdance and it HAS been seen by people and the reviews are mixed.
Save your money and rent Trick R Treat.

Saw the movie at the Telluride Film Festival last week. The last 20 minutes are terrific fun, with smart, understated shocks surpassing the movie's Blair Witch influences. Before that, too much time spent on teases and shaky cam conversations about nothing special. Tighten it up and you'll have a pretty good terror flick.

I just saw this film at a special screening. It's a fantastic supernatural horror film. So many filmmakers get a hold of big budgets and try to pull out all the stops at creating a scary movie, while forgetting one of the most important assets to horror...your imagination. Many don't even understand the meaning of horror with thinking CGI spooks, over the top gore, and cheap scare tactics are what frightens people. NO! What's frightens people is giving them pieces of information and letting their minds fill in the rest. Thus, scaring themselves into creating their own nightmare. Paranormal Activity does this. No CGI, minimal amounts of gore, and a believable approach to the situation allows the audience to not only identify with the characters, but be tortured right along with them. You feel as unsafe as the couple in the film when you watch it. The tension steadily builds throughout the movie as the occurrences become more intense. It's like watching an episode of Ghost Hunters or F.E.A.R...except you actually get to experience what they do.

Saw it last night at an advanced screening. It was quite awesome. From what I have heard of the alternate endings, I would have preferred one of them to the one used, but it is still a great scare.
