Australian Trailer for Lake Mungo

Not long ago, a promo real for the Australian supernatural thriller Lake Mungo made its way onto the web, giving us a taste of its eerie vibe. A trailer was create, too, and we've got it below.

Written and directed by Joel Anderson, the film - about the death of a teenage girl and the subsequent strange events her family experiences - was picked up for U.S. distribution by After Dark Films recently and will open January 29 as part of the 2010 Horrorfest - 8 Films to Die For.

No doubt After Dark will craft a trailer of their own. For now, enjoy this one from Darclight...

these movies just seem to get better and better every year. the first two years were gay and the third year i thought it was pretty good, and now the fourth afterdark horrorfest seems like its going to beat them all. but thats just what i think.

Looks like a generic show that should belong on SyFy.
