I know I don't necessarily know the context of this scene, but all I have to say is lame about that clip. Uninspired, in a community and showers turn on and that's something suspicious? It looses the scare factor when it builds up like that cause its been done so many times before. Really want to scare audiences have the **** come out of no where. Don't make the characters suspicions but too dumb and slow to do anything about it.

Good homage to the original film! I love this clip.

Nice clip. Hot chicks in the shower followed by a murder....thats what slasher flicks should be like.

The kill was tolerable, but the acting was terrible, and the dialogue was worse. Can't they just put **** in good movies, instead of making crappy movies that have nothing else going for them?
I can't see why I'd waste my time on the rest of this movie.

Asking for better acting from a remake of a B-movie??? What's next? A storyline with a plot?

I think it's exactly what I expected from a scene labelled "age restricted shower sequence". But they just HAD to off the hot chick at the end...that's the only downside to this movie so far...so many pretty women have to die for what they've done. Bummer.

The nudity was the only good thing about that clip. That death was so stupid. It doesn't even seem like they were trying to scare anyone.

Christopher Walken's post is a shining example of the "hater's" inability to use correct grammar and/ or spelling. Fantastic. What the hell did he even say? Is that communication?

My big problem with that scene was the way they decided to kill the girl at the end. Whats with the "lets jam stuff through the mouth" junk? I find it unnecessary. A good slash or stab to the chest is just fine thank you. What reason is there for showing metal in someone's mouth? Its difficult for the film makers, annoying for the viewers and just... yuck.

Bruce Wayne
"Unnecessary"?
It's a horror movie. Like the chick said...grow a pair.
What's with all the meek-ass pansy horror fans these days? If I hear one more person whining about horror movies being too violent or disturbing I'm just going to freaking puke.
And "difficult for the filmmakers"? What does that even mean? I guess they didn't mind...since they MADE THE ****ING MOVIE.
No more little girls posting please...go watch Twilight.

LOL NICE **** MY ASS
Posted by: BLAH on August 22, 2009 at 18:52:21
Well, that was completely and utterly stupid. Typical cliche slasher nonsense...
Posted by: Rawhead Andy on August 22, 2009 at 23:24:28
That was awful. I've taken dumps that are more entertaining, tense, and scarier that that.

Mike237
I think you misunderstood my post completely.
I wasn't calling the violence unnecessary or too disturbing. I love me a good splash of blood, guts and such. I was just talking about the recent fad in horror films these days of jamming stuff through people's jaws. I just don't quite understand its appeal in a horror context. I think it would have the same impact (pardon the pun) if the killer had jammed the wrench/knife thing straight between her breasts and into the wall. We kind of see her body hanging off the thing for a few seconds before the killer pulls it out. I think that would have been better, but thats just me.
And please... please don't make me watch Twilight. Now that's a scary movie... If you're afraid of crappy movies.

Amen Mike237. It's good to see a slasher movie that isn't afraid to be exactly what it is- a slasher movie. I'm not seeing this for an essay on human nature or some psychological examination of fear and human nature. If I were looking for that, I'd pop Silence of the Lambs into the DVD player again. What I want from any horror flick called "Sorority Row" is nudity, gore and cheap jump scares, dammit. Based on this clip, that's what I'm gonna get. For the individuals who choose to point out how useless films of this type are....you're absolutely correct. They're pointless. But they're fun. That's why I want to watch it: Because it's ninety minutes of blood soaked, cheesy fun. Nothing more, nothing less.

good scene but the asian chick should have been the one to show some tit...she was the hottest one in the whole scene
