i say thats a great idea,bring on a new trilogy,but do the begining about corvinus,marcus,william,and victor,and why he hates werewolves so much.also a sequel after rise of the lycans about lucian,and kraven,and selen would be nice.also a sequel to evolution could be cool but were do you go from there all the main villains are dead?as for resident evil it needs a remake or a prequel to the first movie about chris redfield and the stars,and have the real tyrant in it in a tube as a bio weapon that does not talk and the hunters,plant 42,the snake,spiders,and neptune should be in tanks and things around a lab in the lower parts,and it should be creepy as hell and not a action film.the thing they screwed up on is infecting the whole world now were do they go from there what is there to save its hopeless.i say remake resident evil And make a underworld evolutionand a resident evil zero.

Hopefully They make the werewolves more brutal and violent then before, thats the one complaint about those films not enough gore,fix that then they would be bad ass.

Why can't they simply pick up where evoultion ended with Michael and Selene. I mean corret me if i am wrong she was not suppose to become a supervampire but she did and there has never been a hybrid werewolf before those are interesting details that the director and writer should be thinking about.Not a selene story we know why she became a vampire she thought the lycans were responsible for the death of her family we do not need to see a whole movie about that it's ridiclous. I would rahter the director make a movie about the vampire Elder Amelia , they never did explain her importance to the war. At the end of evoultion selene said darkness is still ahead but for just a moment she looks into the light with hope. that means that movie needs pick up from there and no where else.

It has to be Beckinsale dammit. I'm surprised no one has said that yet. Yet, I don't see her coming back for one , especially three. I'm thinking she wants to get away from that character and type of movie for now and branch out to other kinds of roles. But who knows what will happen. I think she could do them and do other things in between.

It all depends on the story being told.

People, read more carefully. It says Screen Gems is "eager to CARRY ON Selene's story." Meaning, UW4 would continue where UW2 left off.

I can't imagine anyone else in the role of Selene. But Beckinsale has previously expressed disinterest, that she doesn't want to continue doing action films. But who knows? Maybe she'll change her mind (I hope).

I didn't really like the first two movies. But I loved the setting of the third. I am sure, there are lots of fans who can't wait to see more of this. But I think:

THIS IS BORING! So many boring sequels, prequels, remakes, trilogies. What's wrong, hollywood?

Wow. Selena. Lucius. I guess I didn't see those versions of the movies. I feel cheated. The versions I saw had Selene and Lucian in them. Also, is "agaisnt" a word? I'll have to check my dictionotomy.

I find it hard to believe that Becksinsale will return for another. She said she doesn't like doing a character more than twice. Should make another prequel instead

Underworld would not be the same without Kate Beckinsale. Would like to see Alex O'Loughlin as the male lead. He already did his turn as a vampire on CBS Moonlight. Beckinsale and O'Loughlin already did a movie together called Whiteout due in theaters September 2009. Alex O'Loughlin would be so good in it.

I think 4 should exlpain the 3rd coffin we had victor in 1 marcus in number 2 who is in number 3 since only 1 elder at a time can be awake. could it be corvinus wife somebody gave birth to marcus and his brother?

I'm glad Tatopoulos will not be returning as director, I loved Underworld 3, but it was too dark for me (felt like I was squinting the whole time). The lycans were great but I'd like to see the vampires acting like vampires (more teeth and more blood drinking)

You can't make an entire movie about Amelia. The woman who plays her is a Perfect 10 model (seriously) and you'll notice she's had all of three lines in the movies, most likely because she can't act.

I love Kate Beckinsale, and I think she's a much better actress than the Underworld movies allow her to be, but they're guilty pleasures. The most important thing to possibly draw her back into making them is, of course, money. Vampire franchises are especially hot now, and Underworld has a big (and popular) backstory to draw on to capitalize on the increased popularity of vampire fare since Twilight and True Blood. Unlike those franchises, Underworld is something us dudes can really get into, because most of the focus is on the action, not the glittery vampire pr0n women seem to love so much.

As for Beckinsale in a leather outfit for three more movies: Bring it on! She looks more gorgeous than ever in her mid-30s and she could certainly still pull it off.

I hope another sequel happens

The 4th tie into a seprate story all together...Like an under group of humans hunting both werewolf and Vampire..Also,, what should be noted is that in evolution head Corvinous was let alone with the bodies on the ship..He may have brought back one with his blood before he died.
