Universal Home Entertainment has announced a September 15 street for the John Landis-directed horror-comedy classic...and it's coming loaded with special features. Here's the breakdown:

It's been completely restored since the HD-DVD transfer. It looks amazing!

I like this film but I think The Howling was better. The transformation scenes scared me to death. It gave you a feeling of helplessness. I love Rob Bottin. His work in this film and The Thing was brilliant.
