Director Jon Harrison and co-writer Darin Silverman have extracted from Clive Barker's mammoth horror collection "Books of Blood" two tales - "The Book of Blood" and "On Jerusalem Street" - for Book of Blood. Lightning Media picked up the rights to this adaptation - starring Jonas Armstrong, Sophie Ward, Doug Bradley, Simon Bamford and Paul Blair - and is releasing it on DVD and Blu-Ray September 22. It's look like it may be good. I never read the book. Does it seem close to it?

Anything having to do with Clive Barker, I'll see it. I'm never disappointed with Clive. Midnight Meat Train was good and never read that book nor this one.

Yeah, what adie stone says is true. The film is pretty decent, but hey man! It's Clive Barker!!!
The film seems short to the work of this artist.
I really hope Dread to be a lot better than BoB.
