Yeah, I don't care for what the haters say. This looks and sounds bad ass. It does seem like a realistic way to deal with such a thing happening. From what we saw on this vid it looks to be brutal as hell.

And about the mask, now that we've seen more of it, I think it is scarier looking than the original the way it is slowly disintegrating. It's freaking spooky.

Now with that said, "Let the *****ing begin."

What pisses me off more than anything is how good this movie looks when Sherri Moon Zombie is not stinking up the screen. These clips have been the most exciting thing promotion wise I've seen for this movie.

Jason138, i TOTALLY agree with you. the movie looks awesome EXCEPT for the DEBORAH/Sheri parts AND AND AND the half mask/half phantom of the Opera look.
up until seeing THIS YouTube thing i had NO real objection to the mask's change or whatever, but when i saw it in "action" (albeit for 2 seconds! LOL) i was struck at how terrible that looks.

those clips actually looked a bit better than that god awful trailer. judging by that short vid this may be a movie i go see after all... i still hate wayne toth for f**king up his mask.

This material was badass. I have little concern about Sherri or the mask. No movie is perfect. Rob is telling a story which has many tributaries and subplots. Mom and the mask will be pluses to the movie, I'm sure.

Wasn't "Halloween II" the name of the original Halloween II film.
I thought they were trying to be original by calling this thing "H2: Halloween 2"
Maybe they now want fans to believe it is a remake of the original sequel after all not not a reboot series.

Doesn't matter what people think, they're either going to see it or not see it. Most are going to assume it's the a remake anyway and not know that Zombie's doing his own thing.

H2 was a dumb name anyway. I'd rather it be Halloween 2 then that. I hate text speak, shortened names, etc. KFC, MTN Dew, G for Gatorade, the English language is slowly getting butchered.

I agree ryanc, I don't like the mask either! Halloween II (original) was my favorite in the series, mostly due to the high number of kills. So, I have some expectations, and I don't doubt that Rob Zombie has the ability to meet those expectations, seeing as The Devil's Rejects is on my top 5 movies list.

Ten seconds into this you see Michael swing an axe into someones back, is it me or does it look like Loomis? Hard to see the face but it looks like they have a beard and are wearing a black coat, similar to how McDowell looks when he is being interviewed.

I'll see because I love Halloween, but I'm still pissed that only the "unrated" version of the 1st film is on blu-ray. I hate the "unrated" verson with the sick, stupid rape scene escape. The theartical verson was much better, killing all the guards to escape. I have it on DVD. Will not buy the bluray until I can find the theatrical verson! Morons.
