Fox Injects the DVD Market with Silent Venom

Source:Fox Home Entertainment
April 30, 2009

On June 2nd, Fox Home Entertainment unleashes Silent Venom, a nature-run-amok title that finds Tom Berenger, Luke Perry and Krista Allen tussling with snakes on a sub.

Here, we bring you the synopsis: Lieutenant Commander O’Neill’s (Perry) orders were simple: Pilot a retired submarine to its final port and don’t get into trouble. But when he and his crew are diverted to rescue an imperiled Army research team, trouble is exactly what they find. “Running silent” in their unarmed sub to avoid detection by a hostile fleet, they bring the researchers and their top-secret cargo aboard. But when that cargo – including two genetically enhanced leviathans – escapes captivity, the crew find themselves battling deadly enemies above the surface and below foot in this fast-paced film filled with biting action and slithering suspense!

This presentation will come with no special features. Enjoy the box art...

LOL @ ico

I saw the box art and "Snakes on a Sub" popped into my head as soon as I looked at it.

This will more than likely be a train wreck, but I loved Snakes on a Plane so I might watch it. I can't help but wonder what's next. Snakes on a Space Shuttle?

First Snakes on a plane. Then Snakes and a Train (which was a "The Asylum" film and was released a day before Snakes on a Plane so I guess technically it came first). Now Snakes on a Sub. I'm getting tired of them putting snakes on every damn vehicle and calling it a movie. These movies would have been a B-Movie Classic hit in the 50's and 60's but now its just a waste of time money and film. And why is it always snakes. There are other reptiles in the world. Come on get creative not repetitive.
