EXCL: Briem Takes Journey to the Center of Dead of Night

Word has floated our way that actress Anita Briem is set to play Dylan Dog's love interest in Dead of Night.

Dog, a private investigator drawn into the realm of the supernatural, is embodied by Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) who will be joined by Sam Huntington and Taye Diggs.

Briem, who has appeared on The Tudors, recently starred in Journey to the Center of the Earth and wrapped the comedy Everything Will Happen Before You Die. She'll be venturing to New Orleans where Dead's Kevin Munroe is directing for Hyde Park Entertainment Group and Platinum Studios Inc.

Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly penned the script.
