That has to be the laziest premise ever. I hate it when (screen)writers write about (screen)writers and their problems and personal lives. Then they think they can get me interested by adding a genre twist? Seriously, this kind of crap is worse than remakes. The only way I'll see this is if Brittany and Thora have a 20 minute bathtub scene together.

The plot reminds me of the 80's movie HOUSE.

All writers use things from theyr lives, it's unavoidable.

What do you know about movie directing? Look at me I am rich and you are a poor insect who looks up movies because you are too lazy to go out and get a real job.

Brittany Murphy is currently filming "MEGAFAULT" for The Asylum. I know this because I used to work for them. Heck, I wrote their religious disaster movie "COUNTDOWN: JERUSALEM" (don't blame me for the end product, I did not have control over the script).
She is apparently a real pain in the ass to work with and they have to shoot around her because she is dragging her ass in the trailer!
In any case, that one is shaping up to look better than this boring psycho-drama. David Michael Latt, head of The Asylum, is behind the camera on that one!

The film goes direct-to-DVD on December 1st, 2009. Confirmed by First Look Studio's official site (the distributer), and the film is available for pre-order already on Amazon.
