DreamWorks still holds the North American rights to Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity but now the chiller is extending its reach all over the world.

According to Screen Daily, rights have gone to Icon for the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Metropolitan for France, Svensk for Scandinavia and RCV for Benelux.

Deals closed with Korea Screen in South Korea, Village Roadshow in Greece, Golden Village in Singapore and Eco Films in Portugal.

Ford said multiple offers were on the table for Germany, Italy and Japan and added he was in talks on local-language sequel rights with buyers from Russia, Japan and South Korea. He plans to unveil director Peli's next project Area 51 before the end of the market.
