AFM '08: Sony Nabs Clock Tower, Mandy Lane!

November 7, 2008

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group has acquired domestic home entertainment and television distribution rights to Senator's release slate.

There are various titles included in the multi-picture deal, but the three with the horror flavor include the supernatural thriller Clock Tower, set to begin shooting in Los Angeles on December.

The slate includes the acquisitions Splice, a sci-fi horror that is currently in post-production and stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley and the long-delayed slasher film All The Boys Love Mandy Lane starring Amber Heard.

All of the above mentioned films will be distributed in the U.S. by Senator's newly formed theatrical arm headed by Mark Urman.

i was wondering what happened to SPLICE. i'm really looking forward to that one. Mandy Lane i watched online almost a year ago, and i thought it was boring and VERY over-hyped.

I agree with Mandy Lane being very over-hyped. It was rather tedious and the twist was predictable.
