Filmax Int'l, the production outfit behind Rec, is, as previously reported, moving on a Rec 2.

Shock has learned at the American Film Market that the horror sequel begins shooting November 10th with the writing-directing team Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plazo reprising their duties behind the camera. Here's a teasing snippet about the film found in a Filmax buyer's guide:

Following the recent success of REC, we will be presenting the forthcoming sequel REC 2. The same talented directors stick to the same claustrophobic concept in REC 2, but find new means of transferring fear from the screen to the spectator through the recording lens.

Of course, we'll be bringing you updates on the project as the film commences principal photography.
