IFC Takes French Zombie Film Horde

The Xavier Gens-produced The Horde has been acquired for U.S. distribution.

Announced at the American Film Market this week, Film Distribution sold the French film to IFC Films.

Directed by Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher, Horde follows four corrupt cops who are out to avenge the death of one of their own. They corner a group of gangsters in a condemned building which winds up being invaded by hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures.

Based on their track record, IFC will likely offer the film on VOD and/or give The Horde a limited theatrical run.

Gens directed Hitman and Frontiere(s).
