This must be from the same dude that did the new "Rambo V" poster. Its laughable. Still wanna see the movie though.

I know I am going out on a limb saying this, but Scream all but killed American horror for the better part of the 90's. Scream was an amazing film which capitalized on being tongue-in-cheek, but then every horror film to follow until around the time of the Ring was all tongue-in-cheek self-referential drizzle with the same recycled cast of beautiful people over and over and over. The the Ring came and everything became Asian-style PG-13 blech, and now its all over-polished remakes with no substance. How desperately we need a Renaissance of horror!

They should've stopped after one, made it a one shot deal, would've been better than spawning crap sequels. I guess we don't need to stop there, lets see Behind the Mask 2: The Rising Again of Leslie Vernon, Paranormalier Activity, Trick r Treat 2: Halloween Again. Lame.

I like the tagline. "New decade. New rules!" Hope it stays. I'm excited :)

The more screams the better I say. Love the tagline.

I enjoyed the Scream movies, but I think that the numerous parodies have ruined the effect of that mask. Now it just looks comical. Does anyone else feel this way?
Posted by: Darin Peters on November 5, 2009 at 13:26:49
I think a new mask or at least a reimaging of the old mask should be done. If there are new rules then a new mask.

Scream 2 was a pretty good sequel overall, helluva entertaining flick that was amazing the first time I saw it and still holds up today as a great watch.
Scream 3 just fell flat though, probably because Williamson wasn't on board with that one. There were certain elements in that film that were good, but like I said it just fell flat especially the final revelation.

yayyyyyyyyyyyyy! this poster for Scary Movie 7 looks great!
Posted by: danny glover on November 8, 2009 at 03:56:18
i think the same person who made the h2 posters made this one cuz it sucks! no story to it just feels like a scary movie 6 movie poster a poor try, they must have said hey lets put this realy cheezy back ground with an even more cheezy pose of ghost face plus the logo is a little blury and looks like an 11X17 crapy print from staples print center talk about a horror movie cuz this is horrible
Posted by: Angelus on November 9, 2009 at 04:12:47
I CAN'T WAIT!!!
