The film that has been getting teased for well over a year, Jinn, is finally getting a release from Freestyle on April 4, 2014. To tout this debut, a poster and new image have surfaced – you can see them here.
The film, written and directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, was produced by Ahmad and Benjamin Dresser, and stars Ray Park (Sleepy Hollow), Faran Tahir, William Atherton, Serinda Swan, and Dominic Rains.
Shooting has wrapped on the crime/horror-thriller He Never Died, starring Henry Rollins, and we’ve been provided with another image of Rollins in the film.
The punk rock icon plays Jack, a mysterious loner whohas lived an inexplicably long life fueled by blood lust and filled withcrime and violence. Rollins also serves as an Executive Producer on the project. Boo BooStewart, Jordan Todosey and Steven Ogg also star.

Fans of early 80s school-themed horror films are in luck with this news. 1981′s college campus slasher film FINAL EXAM and 1982′s satanic revenge epic EVILSPEAK (starring Clint Howard) will both be making their debuts on Blu-ray both for the first time this Summer!
Marvin Kren’s Blood Glacier hopped onto our radar a bit ago and it packed an intriguing premise. Today, we have over 20 stills and a trailer to show off to push the film’s January 20th release in UK (a domestic release still isn’t locked in yet).

Well 2013 has come and (nearly) gone. It seems like just a few weeks ago I was eagerly and nervously anticipating the release of the new Evil Dead, reserving skepticism for the Carrie reboot and excited for the very much hyped You’re Next. And now we’re here. I feel like this was a year of more misses than hits. I was underwhelmed with the Carrie remake, Insidious: Chapter 2 and V/H/S 2 and didn’t really care one way or the other for Texas Chainsaw 3D and Mama. But the hits. Damn. What hits they were.
It’s Friday the 13th once again and the geek world is celebrating all things Jason Voorhees. Two posters are being made available today that pay tribute to the Crystal Lake slasher.
First up, we have Gary Pullin’s Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter which is debuting today from Mondo Tees. You’ll have to follow their Twitter account to find out when it’s up for sale today.
