Two genre movies hit the big screen next week and both are going to need your support as they're rolling out in a limited capacity. Afflicted is hitting both select theaters and VOD on April 4th. Also on that day, you'll see the release of Jinn, an ambitious, slick horror-actioner from writer-director Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad.
You can check out the trailer here if you missed it. The news regarding Jinn today is that a theater listing has dropped. It's a rather big breakdown, so head on over to the official site here and see if it's playing in your neighborhood.
Ray Park, Faran Tahir, William Atherton, Serinda Swan, and Dominic Rains star.
The story of Jinn involves ancient mythological creatures who have never been seen in U.S. cinemas before. The premise of the jinn concept, known to over 1 billion people around the world, involves supernatural entities and revolves around creation mythology: In the beginning, three were created; man made of clay; angels made of light; and a third…made of fire. They are powerful due to their existence in a parallel world, and also because they have free will and can be both good and evil.
