REO 1 and 2 came out back in 2004 on the PS2. Quite a while back but since then, fans have been clamoring for a revival ever since. Outbreak Server Recreation Project is a fan-made revival of Capcom’s Resident Evil: Outbreak made to be played with Japanese versions of the games as well as emulators. Details on how to join the server can be found HERE.
Does this help spur development for REO 3 on a next gen system? Never say never, but a more reasonable to just upgrade the existing games. It’s a popular option these days anyway, so why not. Time will tell if we will get a third outbreak, but until then, if you want to play with other fans, this is the way to go.
