The Top 10 Horror Movies of 2013: Spencer’s Picks

Insidious Chapter 2Almost every January I see the annual horror movie we get in that cold desperate month (Texas Chainsaw 3D this year) and more often than not it leaves me bitter, dreading what the affairs of horror will be like for the rest of the year.

Luckily, the first offerings of the year are seldom an indicator of the genre's place for the next eleven months, and 2013 was certainly no different.

Sometimes when assembling these lists I can't even put together ten horror movies from the year that I truly love, but in 2013 I had to chop the list down from over 15.
