The Fantasia Film Festival has been well underway in Montreal, however, ShockTillYouDrop.com has touched down to cover the event for the next few days to take in some of the films. It’s our first year here!
To kick things off, we wanted to share some artwork for one of the many films in development that are being touted at Fantasia’s film market: Buddy (Combat Shock, The Theatre Bizarre) Giovinazzo’s Oktober Flesh, a zombie flick that’s looking to get off of the ground in 2014.
Head inside for a synopsis and better look at the art!
6 million people visit the Oktoberfest every year. It’s the biggest beer festival in the worl. Tim, an American backpacker, falls in love with Resid, a beautiful maiden who works at the festival. What starts out as a brawl among revellers soon becomes a major zombie outbreak. Tim takes refuge in an old castle run by a super rich psychopath, Max. As things in the castle get crazier, Tim is not sure if he’s safer inside or out in the zombie apocalypse. Tim is reunited with Resi, who now would like nothing more than to eat his flesh. He flees the castle and takes Resi with him, hoping to find a cure.
