With the Cannes film market upon us, Stealth Media has revealed that is in pre-production on The Hatchling.
The film is expected to be delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2014.
Set on the Somerset moors, The Hatchling marks the feature film debut of veteran commercials and documentary director Michael Anderson.
The screenplay is the work of Sabre Films originator, Nick Squire, who has based the concept of two Somerset dwelling, man-eating crocodiles – a true story circulating since his school days.
Starring as the social misfit who breeds the beasts is actor-comedian Greg Davies (Inbetweeners Movie) while his psychotic side-kick is played by Thomas Turgoose who debuted his career with Shane Meadow’s “This is England”. Making a welcome return to the screen for her role as the village gossip, is the well-loved British actress, Sylvia Syms.
