Columbus and Tallahassee (Zombieland)
If zombies overran the world one day, it would be beneficial to have both brains and brawn. In the 2009 horror comedy Zombieland, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) and Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) fit the requirements perfectly, using each person’s strengths to outweigh their own weaknesses.
What Columbus lacks in experience and confidence, he makes up for in his quirks and intelligence, which helps him to think quickly and act fast in dire situations. Tallahassee on the other hand will act on impulse and find unique ways to take out the hordes of undead. Together, the duo can help your group survive by developing a plan on what to do, what to avoid, and how to keep yourselves alive.
Alice (Resident Evil)
Even after waking up in a mysterious mansion without her memory, Alice (Milla Jovovich) could still hold her own whether she was up against armed soldiers or genetically altered humans. In the Resident Evil film series, Alice remains fearless as she confronts the evil Umbrella Corporation responsible for unleashing a zombie virus into the world. Her strength and confidence keeps Alice thriving as she breaks free from her past and kicks ass toward building a better future. With Alice in your group you’d have someone who could take out unexpected dangers with her eyes closed, in slow-mo, all while looking pretty.
Claire Redfield (Capcom’s Resident Evil 2)
She may be the younger sister of S.T.A.R.S golden boy Chris Redfield but don’t underestimate her abilities to survive. The petite beauty introduced herself in Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 by riding into the dangers of Raccoon City on her motorcycle. Although not trained Special Forces, Claire used her wits and intelligence to solve puzzles, avoid traps, and find things to use for later. Her spunkiness, mixed with her resourcefulness, make her the perfect candidate for your zombie survival group. Not only is she determined and unrelenting, she will help you fight the undead all while cozying up as your new best friend. And you can always use a friend - even in a zombie apocalypse.
