Jim Mickle, the director of Stake Land, debuted We Are What We Are, his remake of Jorge Grau's film, at Sundance and it didn't take long for it to find a home.

According to Deadline, eOne picked up the distribution rights and is planning a theatrical release.  It's still, obviously, too early to tell when the film will bow.

Mickle's latest stars Julia Garner, Ambyr Childers and Bill Sage.

In the film, a a seemingly wholesome and benevolent family, the Parkers have always kept to themselves, and for good reason.  Behind closed doors, patriarch Frank (Sage) rules his family with a rigorous ferver, determined to keep his ancestral customs intact at any cost.  As a torrential rainstorm moves into the area, tragedy strikes and his daughters Iris (Childers) and Rose (Garner) are forced to assume responsibilities that extend beyond those of a typical family.
